"For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus."

📚 Bible Concordance: "Respector of persons" (Greek: 'prosōpolēmptēs')

Someone who treats people according to their rank, status or importance. One who shows partiality or favoritism, judging individuals based on outward status, wealth, or appearance rather than their character or deeds.

📖 God Is No Respecter of Persons

Peter himself perceived it plainly: "God is no respecter of persons" (Acts 10:34). The Father "without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work" (1 Peter 1:17). Therefore in every nation he that feareth God and worketh righteousness is accepted with him (Acts 10:35).

📖 No Gender, Race, or Nationality in Christ

In Christ there is neither Jew nor Greek (no race or nationality), neither bond nor free (no social standing), neither male nor female (no gender) — "for ye are all one in Christ Jesus" (Galatians 3:28). And before the throne stands a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues (Revelation 7:9). The wrongdoer shall receive for his wrong "and there is no respect of persons" (Colossians 3:25).

📖 Warning Against Partiality

James warns plainly: "if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin" (James 2:9). The Levitical law commanded: "thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty" — but "in righteousness shalt thou judge" (Leviticus 19:15). Partiality toward the poor is sin; partiality toward the mighty is sin. Righteous judgment alone is the Lord's way.

📖 How God Judges

When King Saul was rejected, the Lord sent the prophet Samuel to Bethlehem to anoint a new king from the sons of Jesse. When Samuel saw Eliab, the eldest son — tall and of noble countenance — he thought surely the LORD'S anointed stood before him. But the Lord refused Eliab, saying: "the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart" (1 Samuel 16:7). One by one, seven of Jesse's sons passed before Samuel, and none was chosen. Then David — the youngest, left keeping the sheep — was called in from the field, and the Lord commanded Samuel to anoint him. God did not judge by stature, countenance, or age: He judged the heart.

📌 Keep The Sabbath Holy

This Sabbath, remember that the Lord your God is no respecter of persons. He judgeth by every man's work (1 Peter 1:17). As Christians, we must operate like Christ — not with partiality, not with favoritism, and not with respect of persons, for "if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin" (James 2:9). Judge in righteousness (Leviticus 19:15), that in every nation, they that fear God and work righteousness may be accepted with Him (Acts 10:35).
